Dear Teams of FIMBA European Championship Maribor 2018,

We prepared for you a packages of 15 FIMBA Maribor memory albums. They are prepared for each team separately with the photos of their participation on the event.

Package of 15 albums costs 160 EUR.

You can find and buy albums by the Tourist Info Point in Sport Hall Tabor.


Dear 10th FIMBA Euroepean Championship participants,

tonight at 21.00 at Sport Hall Tabor we will organize 3-points challenge.

Here are the instructions to make registration:

Countries with more than 10 teams – 3 representatives (Slovenia, Germany, Russia, Italy)

Countries with 5 to 9 teams – 2 representatives (Lithuania, Latvia, Greece, Austria/only men, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia)

Countries with 1 to 4 teams – 1 representative (Serbia, Croatia, Georgia, Montenegro, Moldova, Spain – those teams only men (Finland, Ukraine those teams only women)

Please make registration of participating players until 20.00 on e-mail info@maxibasketballmaribor2018.

Rules of registration:

At first one team/one player until we fullfill nation quota. If there will be place for additional player up to 32 (men) or 26 (women) we will take more players. If by e-mail won’t be enough registratations, we will still take registration in Tabor hall.

Registration is free of charge.


Dear Teams of 10th FIMBA Maxibasketball European Championship,

We are inviting you all to Maribor 2018 Social Party Event that will be organised tomorow (Tuesday, 26th of June) at Maribox complex by the bank of Drava river near Lent. It will start at 19.00.

FIMBA Bus Transport from Hotel Habakuk and other hotels under Pohorje hill will be organised at 18.30.

FIMBA Bus Transport from Maribox back to Hotel Habakuk will be organised at 00.00 (especially for the teams that are going back to hotels on Pohorje Hil, because special last cable car will be organised at 00:30!!!)

Last FIMBA Bus Transport from Maribox to Hotel Habakuk will be organised at 01.00!!!

Please notice that FIMBA buses will drive to hotel Habakuk from main BUS Station (2 minutes walk from Maribox)!!!



TRGDear participants of 10th FIMBA Maxibasketball European Championship Maribor 2018,

Once again we kindely invite you tonight to our opening ceremony. Please read instructions.

We will all start gathering at Trg svobode (Square of freedom) in the city center at 19.00.

For participants that are in hotels under Pohorje Hill (Habakuk, Arena, Bellevue, Videc…) we will organize bus transport at 18.30.

At 19.30 we will all together go in a procession to Sport Hall Lukna (about 15 minutes) trough the center of Maribor City. Please don’t be late!

Opening ceremony starts at 20.30 in Sport Hall Lukna.

After short opening ceremony there will be opening party in front of Lukna Hall.

For participants that are in hotels under Pohorje Hill (Habakuk, Arena, Bellevue, Videc…) we will organize bus transport at midnight.

Please be nice and come to opening ceremony. More we are, better will be.

Dear participants of 10th FIMBA Maxibasketball European Championship,

it is only one week until the begining of our big event. It is our honour to host you all in European City of Sport 2018.

To make your arrival without problems, here are some informations about registration/accreditation process.

Before any other actions all teams need to make registration. Registration office will be in Hotel Habakuk, Pohorska ulica 59, Maribor.

Registration office will be open:

Thursday, 21. June: 13.00 – 22.00
Friday, 22. June: 9.00 – 20.00
Saturday, 22. June: 8.00 – 16.00

At the registration process team delegate must bring:
– signed WAIVER OF RIGHT DISCLOSURE AND RESPONSIBILITY COMMITMENT (in the attchement) for each participant. For example – if your team counts 15 members delegate need to give 15 signed waivers. Waivers must be originals not copies or anything else!!!
– copies of personal document (ID card or passport) for all those team members that don’t have FIMBA licence. You can still make FIMBA licenes on to avoid long registration procedure.
– team delegate will sign another DELEGATE FORM where he will guarantee that all signs on players vaiwers are real. Team delegates will get this document in registration office.

Some teams will have to pay additional money in case:
– of more than 15 team members
– transport from airports
– not using our official booking servise for hotels but payed fee with discount

After the registration/accreditation process is finished ant team is confirmed, you will get bags for all participants with organizer gifts, Overtime magazine, accreditation cards, vouchers for social party…

Please note that without registration of the team and accreditation cards there will be no possibility of training or playing games so come first at registration center.

Please note that registration office is only for registration purpose. You will get all other informations at Info and tourist point in front of registration office.

Please note that we will only make registration process for complete team.
